Frequently Asked Questions
Can I combine packs?
Yes. Packs stack on the same account. A Starter plus a Legacy gives you everything from both - the message count, the channels, and the posthumous features.
What if I outgrow my pack?
Add an extra message at $ 2.99 or buy another pack and stack it. Already-scheduled messages stay exactly as you set them up.
If I send one message to 5 people, does it count as 1 or 5?
Five. Each recipient is one scheduled message because each delivery has its own storage, send, and tracking cost. Group recipient lists are a UX convenience — save your family once, reuse them for every message — not a way to multiply your pack.
Why don't Personal or Family include posthumous delivery?
Posthumous delivery requires trusted contacts, a long-term delivery reserve, and a 14-day verification process - all of which add real cost. We include those in Legacy and Lifetime so we can honor that promise indefinitely.
What does "add-on" mean for voice/video on Personal?
Personal supports email and text by default. Voice ($ 4.99) and video ($ 14.99) are available as per-message add-ons - useful if you only need them occasionally.
Are physical letters part of any pack?
No - physical letters are always per-letter add-ons ($ 24.99 each, $ 34.99 with photo). US addresses only, schedulable up to 30 years out.
What's the difference between Legacy and Lifetime?
Lifetime has 2.5× the messages (250 vs 100), much larger included add-on credits (200 photos, 50 voice, 25 video, 100 SMS, 10 USPS letters), 2 extra trusted contacts, and priority preservation. See the Lifetime page for the full breakdown.
Can I gift a pack to someone?
Any paid pack is giftable. The recipient gets a code, redeems it, and the pack unlocks on their account.
Do refunds apply to gift purchases?
Yes - 30-day money-back guarantee applies to gifts too, as long as no messages have been delivered yet.
